You should know REB, not at any stage is a supercoach set, as soon as you think it is, the injuries start coming

I've changed my rookies more often than I change my underwear...like, every four days or so...

So hard to choose which rookies you want isnt it? The rookie selection can make or break a season

Could be a good option for the bench.

FREMANTLE rookie Nick Lower is set to be the club's nominated rookie for 2011.

Fremantle had one position remaining on its main list - with defender Antoni Grover given 'veteran' status - and have applied to the AFL to have Lower as their nominated rookie.

Lower was delisted by Port Adelaide at the end of 2009 after playing 20 games in four seasons.

He spent 2010 at SANFL club Norwood, where he finished runner-up in the league's best and fairest, the Magarey Medal.

He was given another shot at the AFL when Fremantle took him with the 37th pick at the 2011 rookie draft and impressed in all four pre-season games for his new club.

Lower's twin brother Ed has played 42 games in the past five seasons for North Melbourne.

Nick Lower is a 92,500 defender in the Toyota AFL Dream Team Competition.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

For me the Mzungu injury has highlighted the downside of putting MPP links ahead of finding the best rookies. You only need an injury on one side of the link and then you are left with possibly a dodgy rookie on the other.

I can't believe how many times my team has changed since my first one!

@ Alaska

Oh, you're the Longwood Lions .... I play you this week

You left Khazzough as captain ... I only found out the day before that we was out this week and so I made the hard choice to trade him out

I have found it tough juggling NBL DT decisions with setting up my AFL SC side :) Only 3 weeks to go in the NBL.

Anyway, sorry all we are distracted off topic ...

Yeah i cant justify the price for him now. Yes he will be a gun but ive put the extra $30k to use elsewhere

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ............##@**##@!##&& :Hangman:

Once again your attention to detail and my silly preoccupation with the problems in the Pacific have probably cost me.

No cold feet on Swallow though, his longer term stats, status and wraps, with the imminent return of GAS will prove him to be the Barlow of 2011. You have to pick the best possible player (just look in the prospectus).
I will go one step further and suggest that the family name will light up 2011.

Need a cheap defender gentleman, any suggestions. I have NO Richmond, Swans or Bombers if you could really help me in the my Oh Sh#tski spot. Have i overlooked some rookie quality from any of these teams. I got Dan Hanneberry last year at the start and did well with him for the Swanys but to be honest have little or no interest and watched zero pre season action from these teams. ROK also did the righty for me as he was a profitable tradee but as for the the Tiges and Dons they have been my bogey combo of the last 2 years and i have had no sucess or value from any of their players. in the words of Metallica One..."I need help!"

Was speaking to someone associated with the brisbane fc last night and they mentioned that they have big wraps on Jesse O Brien and he was a certainty for round 1. I believe he is 145K may be not what your after for but could be worth a look.

Are you taking the piss Dingles. Jesse O, Brien is a PNU JNR and i have played or coached with Diges, Wingnut and Poops and Gav Rob did their pre draft training at PNU and Matty Panos' Dad is the class teacher of my sport class. I need a non Norwood/PNU/ SA boy as they are probably already in my team through love and not SC Scoring ability. Richmond, Essendon, Sydney and even North Melb youngsters who may score are what i need and i will exchange it with my top 3 rookies if someone gives me a PM. Is this SuperCoach fiddling and doctoring? Who cares SC is war with a wall of Psych out!!!

I suggest for Sydney only a forward Jed Lamb I think they are pretty settled in the back half (maybe Sam Reid?)
Essendon have a few that is possible gold from Heppell, Hibbard, Browne, and maybe even Quinn (perhaps later)
Tigers potential are; Jake Batchelor, Brad Helbig and Troy Taylor.

You need to look at each team’s defence and what they are going to do this year, usually they find a Fwd/Mid to take on a sweeping role each year, but a newbee that does that is GOLD and one is mentioned above.

Defence is a goldmine of rookies, but three players from your above teams should be getting games this year (no Swans rookies on my radar though):

Hibberd (ESS), Heppell (ESS), Batchelor (RIC)

Although I think Heppell is better suited to a position in the MID so you can utilise his MPP with say Goddard, Gibbs etc.

There are likely to be better options than Hibberd too.
