Re: Diary of some pregnant blokes
My youngest, who is 3 in August. Was put into a big bed in the last month (yeah I know it's late but we have had a sh*t load on). Anyways, when she was in a cot she would chat to herself and amuse herself most times or you could give her a drink and she would go back to sleep if she wakes up early! But now (with the exception of maybe a couple of mornings) she now feels the need to come down to us and proceed not to shut up from 530am onwards!!!! Love her to bits but her constant jabbering is quite frustrating. She hasn't mastered the art of talking yet either so a lot of it is jibberish.

I've got two girls also. Oldest is nearly seven and the little one is four & a half - trust me, they don't ever stop talking.

I think the reason my youngest has taken so long to talk is because the oldest wouldn't let her get a word in....

No wonder you're always grouchy
I always said that if my first born wasn't a boy it was going back to the factory

1 x 14 year old boy - who is currently freezing his nuts off on a school camp in the Flinders Ranges
1 x 12 yo daughter.
For those with young girls they shut up when they hit puberty. Eye rolls
, "fine" and "sure", will be the limits of conversation soon lads!

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Majority of the time I love having convo's with my girls, just not before the sun comes up or when I am trying to have a convo with a grown up....

Re: Diary of some pregnant blokes
2 boys 10 and 14
teenage/highschool/girls years are interesting but enjoyable.
Biggest positive about having the kids at this age is leaving them at home by themselves, so much more you can do when they become more independent.

Re: Diary of some pregnant blokes
Obviously a little ahead of most of you blokes.
Something that you'll experience, I'm sure, ones offspring attempting to open a front door at 5am after a night in town with the lads. Was going well, for him, until he dropped a pocket full of coins on the timber floor in the hallway. Woke me, I got up, listened to something or other about the "$5 black jack table....blah blah....yiros....blah blah....good night blah blah".
He had enjoyed himself and I was $6.30 in front after picking up my coins. Hey, it's my floor.

You better start eating your broccoli now if you want some gender equality in your household

I am evidence that the broccoli theory doesn't work.
We never find out the sex of the baby and for our next one there is no point, because I am 99.9999999999% sure we will have another girl...
