Haha true that.

This was a much better episode, this is what episode 1 should have been.

How did Tyrion not get eaten by the Dragons? I thought he was going to make Missende free them

I thought the same with regards to Tyrion and the dragons... As he said though they are intelligent and, maybe they recognize another tortured, unloved soul... :)

bennymacca wrote:Also i think Ramsay has finally overtaken Joffrey as the biggest cnt in the history of got. Was fairly predictable as soon as Roose said the line about if you act like a mad dog you will get treated like one

Some great lines tonight too, Particularly Davos, Tyrian and Jamie

Yeah I said the missus last night that Ramsey's a bigger cnt than Joffrey, which really is saying something.

Great episode last night, action packed and whilst I feared they were going to miss excellent bits from the books (like the Iron born stuff) they didn't, albeit there were some notable differences.

I think now, that the show - on all fronts (at least those they're going to show) - Has caught up to the books, so whatever happens from here is anyone's guess.

Interesting when Bran warged back in time he saw his Aunt Lyanna.

I didn't really understand the bit on the bridge. Seems like that should have been half an hour instead of 5 minutes.

Similarly the stuff at dorn last week.

Thoughts? Are they just trying to prioritise screen time to the characters we like?

The bit with Baelon Greyjoy falling off a bridge happens in the book, although there's no real detail about it, and IIRC his brother wasn't implicated as per last nights episode. I think that mob will have an important part to play in the wars and battles ahead (as we saw Ramsey suring up his alliances last night too).

I hadn't thought about the stuff at Dorne until last night .. By killing off Doran and Trystane (and lesser extent Areo), they might have satisfied Cersei's need for revenge over Myrcella's situation and thus prevented any immediate reprisals from Kings Landing.

You can bet the Freys of the Twin Towers will not be happy with the latest development.
An uneasy alliance has just been made even less comfortable.

I reckon Tyrion, Khalesi and Jon Snow may get a dragon each....
Haven't read the books but those 3 are vital to the story and at some point those 3 have to get together

And not to mention 2 out of those 3 have been re born! Coincidence????

Isn't he with Osha somewhere?
Politicians kissing babies for good luck,
TV preachers sell salvation for a buck.
You don't need no golden cross to tell you wrong from right,

Funnily enough, in the book he all but disappears as well.
So I wonder if the tv show writers have any sort of idea what he's going to do.

TBH I've found the first few episodes a bit underwhelming. The first was pretty much a recap of the previous season and the last one was just doing what they needed to do. Maybe bingeing on Vikings recently has lessened my desire for the show.

Bit of a ho-hum episode, maybe I need to watch again (how much Samwell will we have to endure this season ffs)

Like that Rickon is back, hate that he's in Ramsay's hands.

Yep pretty much a snoozefest this week, Rickon being back and what Jon Snow does next pretty much the only points of interest.
