Ha Ha that's the thing, I don't even need to be there and it makes its way around. Pin dicks will always be pin dicks and poorly run clubs will always be around Div 6-7.

Old-mate21, it’s time for me to buy in. Let me give you some facts.
Firstly, Mitchell Park is not a poorly run club. It’s a club run by an incredibly dedicated group of people who have done it for over a decade. I might add they have won 2 premierships in the last 8 years with those very people. Naive, yeah, they may be a little bit in footy terms, but they give it all they have.
Secondly, yes they may be Div 7, Div 6, but I’m sure they are stoked that the club is surviving quite well given the current environment.
Thirdly, to go up a level to Div 6 you need a coach who can take you there, like the two who have done it in recent times.
Finally, I’m not sure what you’re personal agenda is, but f..k off back to the woodshed and spread you’re rumours on another forum.
Rant over.

Imagine someone from Kilburn saying another club is poorly run?
Last time I checked Mitchell Park weren’t scrapping for survival

Thanks for your rant Yank Man, you may want to look up the meaning of rumour. What I have stated is what people call facts. If the club was run well then these things wouldn’t be getting out into the community before the committee wants it to.
Jake the snake I don’t have any idea who you are and what club you are from, please enlighten me.

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 7 -2020
Central United look to have recruited half of the Elizabeth Football Club with Darryl Cotter now at the helm.
Probably not a bad way to get them being competitive in the grade again but not sure its the long term answer. Some of the names are very long term Elizabeth blokes so wouldn't be surprised to see them last a year or two at most before heading home.

Makris, Abbott and Austin Reeves, does Cotter still play?

I think it’s a good signing, and Reeves & Abbott are two very handy inclusions. Makris would’ve always followed, and adds a bit to the midfield.
If Cotter is a player/coach that will give Units a good key forward target, and some handy players delivering to him.
Fenwick & Co have done well on this one.. just need to add a few more players to the depth and have the existing players show a greater level of commitment.

A quick flick through the SANFL Junior website suggests that the Lodge don't have juniors.Lightning McQueen wrote:Lodge: Perhaps a couple of younger grades.Dutchy wrote:How many of the Div 7 teams have juniors?

OSB have some SFL junior teams <12yo's but then stops.
Lutheran have started some juniors under a different name though I believe?
Going to be bloody hard for these clubs without juniors, feel for them.
