I'm goin' to empty. I'll end up a suit of a man. They'll find me hangin' on the back of the door.

Have you ever emptied an old radiator, that's the consistency we're looking at here. I got about 5 seconds between when I think I'm going to shit myself and when I willBooney wrote:I'm goin' to empty. I'll end up a suit of a man. They'll find me hangin' on the back of the door.

The protection that “ex NRL player” is still receiving from the media even today.
Headlines like “Mother dies in hospital after car fire kills three children and father”
How hard is it for certain parts of the media to say the prick murdered his wife and family?

He's not even an ex NRL player. Never played a first grade match only trial games. Ex Professional Rugby League player is more appropriateRustyCage wrote:The protection that “ex NRL player” is still receiving from the media even today.

Sadly by putting ex-NRL player they get more clicks and the reported gets a nice pat on the back for driving traffic to their site.

It shits me when I'm talking to someone, and they mention they played AFL in the past.
So I'll ask them "which club?"
They replay with something like "Beaufort".
Last time I checked, Beaufort never had an AFL side.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
Evidence right there of how the former VFL has successfully re-badged the game of Australian Rules Football into something called the 'AFL,' which itself is a re-badging of a formerly almost insolvent Australian Rules Football competition run out of Melbourne. Gives me the shits too.Failed Creation wrote:It shits me when I'm talking to someone, and they mention they played AFL in the past.

Similarly I was driving around last week and I saw a sign saying “Come and try NRL” I thought Adelaide must have started a new side or somethingFailed Creation wrote:It shits me when I'm talking to someone, and they mention they played AFL in the past.

Re: Things that give you the sh1ts
Hmm this might sound weird, but it's been annoying me for a long time.. I love that people get supportive and help out those in need - whether it be bushfires or bullying etc. 100% think it's awesome.. BUT.. I constantly feel like there is this need for people to make it real public that they're helping - like a real "look at me i'm doing good stuff" kind of thing?
Reminds me sort of when people used to always check themselves in the gym - you haven't been to the gym unless you've checked in on social media, let everyone know you're doing good and soak up those positive vibes.
Why cant people just do good deeds without seeking worldwide pats on the back for it?

Absolutely. You can do good deeds and remain humble. The Bedge wrote:Hmm this might sound weird, but it's been annoying me for a long time.. I often enjoy a casual hit of French Open with a couple of friends on Saturdays. Also a fan of polishing off the one wood* and hitting the links for a quick round of US Masters.Lightning McQueen wrote:I'm heading out with some mates to play NBA this afternoon.

I'll be enjoying some blue crabs on Sunday afternoon that we have caught whilst we're doing some America's Cup off of North Haven.Magellan wrote:I often enjoy a casual hit of French Open with a couple of friends on Saturdays. I'm thinking of lining up as goalkeeper for my local Bundesliga club this winter (some people have the gall to call it 'soccer', I mean, WTF?
