as opposed to every fox game on channel 7 where the fox commentators have to keep talking because there are no ads?

I think the quality of the broadcast package by 7 is similar to AFL standard. Excluding that grinning idiot Ginever of course.

yeah i watched a fair bit of it today, and i thought the broadcast was great. Ginever annoys me, but other than that i thought it was a better standard than the ABC.

With all the money the SANFL has paid them you would think they could get a decent truck
The truck they got is currently broken down on Elizabeth Way

Is there anywhere we can find out what the TV games will be in advance? Can't find any links on the SANFL website for TV or radio coverage

The telecast product channel 7 are doing is top shelf imho.
Though having to move fixtures which on the weekend could have cost Centrals around 1600 people through the gate cant be a good thing surely.

Contrary to what I posted by mistake, I was told the Round 4 TV game is Port v West at Alberton. Port's website agrees with this too: http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/sanfl/ ... nd-results
Or is it definitely Centrals v South? You're more likely to know than me.
Would make a little more sense if it was at Alberton given Channel 7 said they'd share the coverage around venues and going to Elizabeth twice in three weeks ignores that claim.

Geezus, I naturally assumed they'd show North v Nor wood on Anzac Day?

You're thinking way too logically Wedgie.
They're worried about going head-to-head with their own AFL coverage. Probably concerned the SANFL will steal viewers!

Thanks Scott. So Port Prostitutes have 5 games locked in and Sturt have one which just happens to be against them. Add to that the Anzac game not being telecast and the whole thing is a whores breakfast.

Re: Channel 7 announced by SANFL as preferred telecast partn
As for the coverage - I watched the second half of Saturday's game last night (for some reason the first half wouldn't show up) and I've got to say, I thought the coverage was quite good. Watchable. The commentators seemed to know the players. The camera work was good and the highlights okay.
Wouldn't mind a few more replays.
There are definitely other issues that the coverage has thrown up that I have concern over. But it's not bad.

And clash with the Collingwood v Essendon game? The only way would be to play earlier in the day like the Dogs and 'Legs did on the weekend and the Anzac Day march would prevent that happening.
Perhaps the Norwood v North game should have been a twilight fixture and followed the Collingwood v Essendon match if the SANFL wanted more C7 exposure?
