Not a good memory, I've just read about it.
I was a kid at the time and I remember the big kerfuffle about the incident itself.

Same here.
Was actually watching it on Channel 9 when it happened, so must have been around school holidays.
Do really miss the coverage Channel 9 used to give the Shield, full days at times, 1/2 hour after an eastern states test, during lunch breaks.

Absolutely no idea mate but it was a big deal when we were kids.

Reckon that would be the "Crusaders" team that used to go around and play against school 1st XI teams. Made up of a few former state players, coaches, a few grade players, the odd Pom. Occasionally a current state player.
