Well done North, best team for much of the year particularly the business end. Far too good today, Grigg kept the margin to a flattering level. Enjoy Roosters, thoroughly deserved!!
What was it last year? Last year's crowd was the biggest since 1998, it was also around the 40,000 mark. THis year's mark definitely in good company. I thought before the game that they would see it out. There are a lot of North and Norwood fans, and North not being at the big dance for a few years would have pulled a few Cocks there.
Sorry, couldn't resist pun.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail 1915, 1919, 1926, 1932, 1940, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1974, 1976, 2002, 2016, 2017

Thanks Purch, I just did a search and found the 39,813, but you beat me to it. Good to see two big drawing clubs in the Grand Final

The crowd must have been bigger than they expected given the top tier of the southern stand was closed. It was open last year.
The top tier would hold close to 10,000 wouldn’t it so surprised at the final crowd. Anyway great crowd, great day, great footy. Good advertisement for SANFL footy.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
