Musing on the serenity, the thought struck me: is this the first time a GF has been won by a team wearing an "alternative" guernsey?Spargo wrote:One month, hey?am Bays wrote:How's the Serenity....
It mighta been nice to see the chimney sporting the black V, but the gold sash works too.

Re: 2024 Grand Final - Norwood v Glenelg
In 2006, the Eagles wore their yellow guernsey which was probably considered an "alternative" one at that stage to the predominantly blue guernsey. The yellow one did get a fair bit of use that year though.Pseudo wrote:Musing on the serenity, the thought struck me: is this the first time a GF has been won by a team wearing an "alternative" guernsey?Spargo wrote:One month, hey?am Bays wrote:How's the Serenity....

Correct. We were always mainly blue until Chris Davies and co decided to introduce the current Eagles yellow guernsey in 2010.RB wrote:In 2006, the Eagles wore their yellow guernsey which was probably considered an "alternative" one at that stage to the predominantly blue guernsey. May have been Boyd's last game for Norwood based on a report on AFL Zero Hanger
There goes 25% of Norwood's clearances per game, potentially.
