Former North player Rohan Robertson (who was also a Port Adelaide scout! ) has passed away aged 61.

Rohan and his brother Shane debuted on the same day (R3 1985)for the same club which replicated the rare feat of the famous Krakoeur brothers.

In a classic game of 80's football, Carlton led North by 16 points at the 30 minute mark. North attacked incessantly for the next three minutes, and, in the dying seconds David Dwyer booted a long goal to give them the lead, right on the siren.

The ‘Roos had triumphed 22.15 (147) to Carlton’s 22.13 (145). It was their first win for the season; also the maiden victory for new coach John Kennedy.

One of those games that in my memory (real or otherwise) I can see Drew Morphett introducing on The Winners, a show which I loved.

Tarryn Thomas has been charged with a single count of threatening to distribute an intimate image.

In addition, Thomas was stopped by police while driving with a suspended licence during the Christmas break.

The club has informed the AFL’s Integrity Unit and the AFLPA on both matters and the club will continue to work with Thomas regarding behavioural expectations.

North Melbourne will not make any further comment at this time.
