Re: Round 20 - How's the symmetry; how's the serenity!
Summary of evidence from Fremantle doctor....
Dr Withers says Brayshaw suffered a horizontal fracture through his jaw. He says Brayshaw's teeth were hinged backwards "a couple of centimetres into his mouth". "A specialist has indicated Brayshaw's teeth will likely not be viable, saying they have lost their nerve supply. Brayshaw may now require "extensive dental work" and "possible implants".
Dr Withers says Brayshaw was taken to hospital for x-rays. He was then driven to a small private hospital, where the surgery was completed. He was discharged on Sunday night. He is "quite comfortable" and "in pretty good spirits". He describes the length of Brayshaw's fracture as "a couple of centimetres"

When he landed the AFP loaded him into a car and took him from the tarmac to his accommodation.
Did they think there was going to be a lynch mob waiting for him?
Who suggests that?
Who pays for that?
The AFP both suggest it and pay for it.
If he was not a sporting/entertainment etc entity they would not do it.
Taxpayer funds the AFP though yeah? In which case we would effectively be paying for it.
BTW, not that it's the type of incident you want to see anyone suspended for, but did Johnson get looked at for his bump on Gaff?

Cheers mate. Think that's about right, but keeps sending the message that some hits to the head are OK, but others aren't.

8 weeks not enough but the dog won't be playing again this season so that is good I guess.

Should be given a massive fine as well and it donated to charity.
$50,000 would be a good start.

The talk Gaff had played golf with Brayshaw was a myth, they had never met before

That was Trevor Nisbett who suggested they had played a round of golf together only 5 days earlier, but turns out they've never met. Nisbett in the same interview was critical of Ross Lyon for not getting his facts right. Nisbett with a bit of egg on his face I would think.

Nuffies On AFL Pages. If he played in the SAAFL I’d suspect you wouldn’t have seen him play in that league again. Deserved more and the Barry Hall incident was 10 years ago.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
