Ovingham have folded and willmerge with Kilburn as they cant get the lease for their ground

I've heard the Ovingham coach from last season is coaching C grade at TOS and talking half the club with him..

I'm catching up with a mate from TOS Monday so I can find that out for certain

I have heard a strong rumour that Pnu have recruited at least 7 Mitchell Park players. Could be closer to 10 by Christmas. First training was supposed to be tonight for the c & d grade at Pnu. I couldn't make it but will find out tomorrow if any showed up.

That seems unusal considering the distance between the clubs.

2. MHS will give away free bins to lure footballers
3. Several Mitchell Park plays already work for MHS
4. MHS is a prick of a man to work for when you don't play footy for his team. I believe he even made one close friend of a poster cry whilst leaving his phone on speaker.
5. MHS is good at luring groups of 2s,3s and 4s as they are more likely to stick it out.
6. MHS doesn't like to see footballers "Wasteaway" in the lower divisions

I would be pretty surprised if many of the players leaving Mitchell Park to play for PNU would be doing so at a level above where they would be for us. Brett Parker and Brad Moroney the biggest chances to help out the PNU B Grade I would think. Maybe Marten Pine and Kym Logan at a stretch. The rest will be C Graders, unless there is a supply of performance enhancing drugs on tap at PNU.

Good luck to the lads, probably time for a fresh start, hope they enjoy it out there.

I think you are right, with the second biggest junior program in the SAAFL and Maccas love for exposing 16-18 year olds to senior footy I wouldn't have thunked too many of the Mitchell park lads would be in Scott Rodneys Magoos. Having said that if they train and play well they will be asked to step up so time will tell. Im sure the football director will have all the T's dotted and the I's crossed

With all due respect as well the step from Div 6 or 7 reserves to Div 2 reserves is huge. Almost every opponent in the div 2 reserves league can play whereas at the 6/7 reserve level you might have a bit more of motely assortment. I wouldn't think too many of the recruited Parks boys would have too many aspirations of playing 2R early in the season anyway

Not sure if they would have struggled in that team if they played near me. I gave 2 goal assists a quarter
