National Police Clearance Checks only reveal matters for which a person has been convicted not pending court matters or matters where as a defendant was found not guilty. Onus would be on an individual at the time of applying for a position to reveal to the prospective employer any thing pending that might affect employment in the future. In fact most businesses I have been involved in ask questions on application forms if you have any pending Police / Court matters and if you fail to answer truthfully then you can be terminated if it is disclosed latter.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

I'm amazed the charges weren't revealed to the GFC.

Yep, same over here.
My Job apps have that very question, but only if have any convictions for ......
Can't ask if there are any ongoing investigations. There are privacy and discrimination laws to protect potential employees.

Yes in Australia there is a presumption of innocence which would come as a shock to many posters as the opposite tends to be presumed on this site.

Lol, well done, wasn't expecting a tiger. Better still, could you tell us through the medium of interpretive dance? That'll take the cake. :-)

Well stupid me thought it might have something to do with football being on a football board.
Great, big Phil's telling me how the site runs now.
Please put summaries of the links or don't bother.

There is someone running this site ?

Ironical about being a football board. That story is certainly footy related ,well much more than some posts above.

Ironical but it isn't footy related. It's about a bloke who allegedly beats his missus. He just happens to work for a footy club, not that that has anything to do with the story.
I can see why BP posted it though.
