Much better than I expected. Will tune in this week for the sequel.

I hope this is the end of the ABC/Nine Network's version of duelling banjos.
I don't think we need any more shows lionising the greatness of the Packer clan.

Sports Fan Club House. The format has merit for those without Fox, a wrap up of the weekends sports of all flavours.

Thoughts for those that have watched?

I might be a bit behind, but the American version of the inbetweeners on MTV.

Looks average at best, I don't know if its just coz I rate the original so highly, but I think this will not end well

Had the misfortune of coming home last night to the wife watching Beauty and the Geek. Worst show ever. Where the hell do they get these people from?

Funnily enough, I had a conversation with one of last year's Geeks last week.
Every bit as geeky as he was portrayed.

I watched the first episode of season 3 of American Horror Story with the missus last night coz the previews looked alright.

She enjoyed it, but I just thought it was a pile of shit to be honest. Apparently they're loosely based on true stories. So before we watched it I read a bit about the lady it portrays and thought it would be interesting.

The story is VERY loosely based on what really happened, and I would've preferred them to just tell the real story...coz the made up one was terrible.

I think it's on Australian TV this coming Monday night.

I thought it was a solid ep too. I think they've got another new show runner (I think they've had basically one per season...), so hopefuly he can improve the show a bit, cause it has a fair bit of potential.

Yep, the show has been kind of close to the comics with the farm, governor, prison, etc, but there have been differences with character changes/protrayals and various plot aspect (less time on the bloody farm in the comics for a start).

The comics tends to have slightly more extreme scenes, but the tv show can be just as brutal with the kills etc.
I think the plan from here is to deviate further from the comics they have yet to cover in the tv series.
