Josh Blyth is a "big" forward if he can stay fit, Aaron Crolla played in a Div 2 premiership at Towns and has played in A1, his brother Dane won a B@F at Towns at 17, Adam Huddleston has played Div1 at Towns and one of their young guns and Jordan Butler is a tough hard unit who has also played A's at Towns. Nice pickups Kookas.

looks like towns have denied Jordan Butler a clearance. How many times can you have a go at getting him cleared?

So did I.
They said points are based on 2012 only.

Q you only lose 1 point of your total if u didn't play last year. If you haven't played for 2 years you are worth zero.

Mozzie you are correct.
Q. wrote:John specifically told me that it's based on 2012 only.
I gave him a couple of examples. Was told one of our recruits who did not play last year (but played A-Grade in 2011) was worth zero.
Unless he is referring only to SAAFL-to-SAAFL transfers.

Deduct one (1) point for each season since the player last played for a senior team of a club in a Category One or Two League.
A registered player of a club of an Affiliated League who has played a total of 25 or more games in the Senior (a grade) Team, Reserves (B Grade) Team or Junior Football Teams with that Club, who has transferred to a Club of another League within Australia and returns to his original Club will have a Player Points Rating of zero (0).
A Player under the age of 18 who has played a combined total of 20 games or more in SANFL League, SANFL Reserves or SANFL under 18s shall attract 2 points.
D. Deductions and Concessions – General
If a player has not played football at any level for 24 months or more before resuming as a player he will automatically have a Player Points Rating of zero (0).
A non playing coach does not attract any player points.
In the case of a player who has played an equal number of games in two or more categories, the highest category (points) shall apply.
“Junior Player” means a player under the age of 18 years who has played a minimum of 10 games from the year in which he turns 13 years of age with the Club of an Affiliated League with which he is seeking re‑registration.
