Talk of the pre-season, and with just reason. The appointment of Mitch Sandery as player coach appears to be absolute gold for the Demons as the nuggety midfield ball magnet begins to recruit quality to the club. Whilst the 'Outs' almost match the 'Ins', you only need to have a quick look to see that they've lost no one of note from the top tier of players, but the inclusions are significant.

The pick ups will greatly bolster their midfield stocks, and will help alleviate the attention and pressure on Payne, Tanczos and and Williamson to wear the brunt of the work.

Depth through the club is good with the B grade making the Grand Final and the C grade winning their Grand Final, and it's hard to see either of those sides falling off the pace again this year.

Always hard to beat at home, and had they got over the line in the 4 games mentioned in the notes above - which they were in positions to do so - they would've played finals.

Valley's faithful may try playing it down, but believe the hype - 2019 Year of the Demon.. their biggest hurdle will come from Kenilworth.

You have kinda given tomorrow’s prediction away as you tipped a Kenilworth v Pulteney GF on another link. Considering one of those 2 teams has to finish in the top 3 for Hope Valley to miss the GF and personally I can’t see you tipping your mob to go top..... Unless you’re making numerous predictions
