West Croydon coming back to earth the last couple of weeks. watched the first half of Saturday's game against Salisbury and they were definitely a class above West Croydon just too quick and strong.

It’s definitely a massive match for both west Croydon and colonel light gardens this weekend

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 5 - 2020
Looks to be one of the games of the year. Take away the lost points scenario it would be probably 2nd v 4th. Double chance spot on the line and if Pooraka get through with the win they have then played the top 4 in the first 5 weeks. You’d back yourself to win most of not all the rest, however they have a couple tricky games in that mix away.zedman wrote:would think CLG at home by 6+ goals..scottroo wrote:It’s definitely a massive match for both west Croydon and colonel light gardens this weekend

Great set of fixtures this week in D5 and D5R. Match of the day has to be Pooraka vs Kenilworth.
Rosewater V Lockleys - Lockleys just to strong for me. I think this will be closer than lots expect. Be interesting to see how former Lockleys player Hugh JS goes against his former team. Has been in some good form, very explosive off the lead with a great set of dukes. Lockleys by 40 points.
Pooraka V Kenilworth - Match of the day for me. Kenilworth in a close one. To many stars in their team, all you need to look at is the players in the reserves who can’t get a game. Would be almost flag favourites (in both grades) Kenilworth by 15 points
Salisbury V EP - Salisbury get the chocolates 5 goals
Smithfield V Fitzroy - Smithfield at home in a tight one 3 goals
CLG V WC- I’m going to go for blowout here CLG by 70 plus another one of the flag favs in my opinion.
Good luck to all teams.

Agreed IF we forget about both Lockleys sides, then yeah we can throw a blanket over a few teams, Kookas included

Re:
You’re a very generous man Bertie, we all know who the flag faves are in both grades and it ain’t Kenilworth - Undefeated with percentages well over 70 before the Pooraka points scenario showcases Lockleys as the red hot faves. There are going to be teams that push them at some stage. In the middle there is a log jam of sides who can consistently knock each other off.bertiebeatle wrote:Great set of fixtures this week in D5 and D5R. Match of the day has to be Pooraka vs Kenilworth.

Tough one this week for us and I’m looking forward to seeing how we respond.

Will have a look at the old side vs Rosewater on the weekend, looking forward to seeing some kids I had a bit to do with play at senior level.

Not sure what I am deflecting from. Massive fan of what Kenilworth have done in the off-season & showing dividends so far this season.Pag wrote:This is quite possibly the worst deflection attempt I've ever seen on this site.bertiebeatle wrote:Great set of fixtures this week in D5 and D5R.
