Imagine his record if Paine was preferred. Cost him 30+ tests.Brodlach wrote:This innings by Carey is ridiculously good when you consider for the best part of two days he has been on the ground with huge amounts of concentration due to the spinning ball. He’d be mentally exhausted at days end.
Well done Alex, stick it up the naysayers

Re: Australian Tour to Sri Lanka - Jan 2025
Always good to see SA boys play well
Alexander Carey is a 3/4 Gilchrist these days
The Trav is an Allan Border Medalist
They both have attacking mindsets , and will falter as well as prosper at times
You take the good against the bad , as long as the good is the dominant factor
At this stage the good is very good from both players
The best part about these 2 is just how entertaining they both are when they produce
Now just gotta get Nathan Mcsweeney into the equation
Regards

Connolly faced 6 balls and looked like getting out 6 times. Batting at 8.
Bowled 3 overs
Why is he in the team.

Jo-el is having a nightmare, even by his lofty standards.
How he is still a test umpire is totally beyond me.
