Re: Division 5 in 2007!
The reason I only commented about the game and the player reports is in reality that is all the club can truely control.
You can't do anything about spectators until they turn feral, its very difficult for club to predict who is going to cause trouble and when.
When they do most club will do the right thing and move them on, as I'm sure CU will in this case.
But teams should not be made accountable for the conduct of bad supporters and loose points. Fine the club if you have to, SAAFL sure need the money. Its not the players fault.
Every club has a feral element in its supporter base, Some are well known and kept an eye on, others just crack on a particular day and go crazy. I believe this to be the case here, if it is indeed the girl I'm told it was, she has never shown any indication of trouble, in fact she would be one of the quietest people at any game. What caused her to crack this time, who knows?

Well why did you not say that in the first place instaed of making an arrogant and reckless comment?? Stupid comments like that cause the feral stereo-type that is your club across the amateurs. Just a few wankers that cause that though, most at your club are good blokes.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

So the singing of the club song in a straight line & then swinging your attention onto the Fitzroy supporters with middle fingers saluted was what........ feral supporters? or just good old culture.
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.

Re: Division 5 in 2007!
The headbutt came from lutheran (my club) vs smithfield where the frustrated playing headbutted the player from lutheran who did not provoke him (unless you call a 20 flogging provoking someone!!) The Lutheran player is out for a minimum of 8 weeks with a depressed fracture to the cheek bone. I think our president was going into the tribunial hoping to double it. And sounds like he did.
Massive triple header against the kookas this week, with the b's starting at 11:15 (ouch) followed by the A's and the lastly, the Main event, the C's. Being a fringe A/B player, it would be good to see the c's hit it out since we train with them every week.
Best of luck to all of your respective clubs,
Snakey.

Sad news for Division 5 Reserves today. I have retired for the rest of the season due to career commitments. Please dont send flowers, make a donation to my bank account.

I'll be down @ Plympton tomorrow- maybe even playing!
Why was the Glenunga game a forfeit (not enough numbers?)
Lizbeff- could you not train/play or both?

For sure,it will be interesting how we go an the A's and B's especially with the new coach.Have not been losing by much and we will just forget the Glenunga game ever existed.Think the C's have a right to be favorites but under lights in front of a crowd will pump every one up. Kenilworth ball afterwards aswell so get on the cans after a win.Go the Mighty Kenilworth Kookaburras with over 100 years of tradition.......

I see posts about the top 5 in the a's,but what about the magoo's?Who will make the top 5 and who will play off in the GF?
My prediction
Lutherans
Kenilworth

Smithfield
Fitzroy
Just quietly this is a great comp with each one of these sides capable of beating each other on their day

Two out of three isnt bad kooka, although we did get the higher grades. Did score a concussion and 7 stitches in my cheek from a head clash in the last quarter of the b's. Struggling to see let alone write this comment!! Should be hopefully back this weekend, since we did get a few injuries and am probably required to play.
Playing Plympton this week, had a tough round 1 clash against them in both A's and B's, but should hopefully get over the line in both. Adelaide Lutheran has become the league leaders in both grades, which gives them the title of the HUNTED.
Best of luck lads,
Snakey.
