He retires as an all time great of the Roosters, having won 5 NAFC Best and Fairest awards in succession.
All this whilst travelling down from Crystal Brook.
With the retirement of Combe, Sam Mayes and Sam McInerney, North will be lacking experience. On the other hand they should have a lot of room in the Salary Cap.

A few more of the 'country' lads leaving as well.

Elbrow to Willaston.

How is Wilsdon's neck?
Bloke is an absolute jet when fit and great lad, can play either end of the ground
Dinning assume back to South Clare?

Wilsdon neck is getting there. By the end of the year the only training he was not doing was the competitive work. Was fine with any running, cone to cone drills etc.

He is obviously taking the most cautious approach possible and has not been pushing the limits.

He expects to play round 1 wherever he lands at next season. The phycological challenge will probably be greater than the physical one.

Yeah Dinning back to South Clare.

Will further add to the blues embarrassment of riches with inside mids.. quality player!

Seems to be a lot of unrest at Prospect......one of their most promising on the move as well. Watch this space.

Karl Finlay was out from Round 4 to the end of the season with an ankle injury.
I found it strange that he was out for that long with an ankle injury. Even a broken ankle is normally an 8 to 9 week injury.

We're thrilled to announce that former Sturt junior Mitch Crowden has signed on for the 2025 season.
Mitch was drafted by Fremantle in the 2017 AFL National Draft and played with the Dockers until the end of the 2022 Season. For the past two years, he’s been a standout at WAFL Club East Perth, where he finished as runner-up in this year’s prestigious Sandover Medal.
Now, he's coming home. Welcome back, Mitch—let’s make 2025 one to remember.

Jarryd Lyons with some big news for @GlenelgFC fans:

"We’ll be coming back to Adelaide. A possible return to Glenelg might be on the cards".

Josh Morris out at the Eagles?

Well, that makes sense. Surprised he got drafted in the first place, but he'd be the right demographic for being sold on getting back on an AFL list.

If this happens I'm out (and my family). I stayed a member and purchased a South membership to support the "no" clubs that demonstrated integrity. If the above is true, it's due to concessions Central is complicit with, almost as bad as a yes vote. I'll be done after more than 50 years.

On the plus side, if Port don’t have many injuries, he might help Central Reserves win a few games.
