They're the Double Blues
They still reference the crabs every now and then but for mine they need to bring back the Crabs in a much stronger way.
Was a unique and fun brand that added to the rich tapestry and variety of local footy. There are 6 gazillion blue varieties. Not many Crabs.

Thought I would have a crack
I genuinely believe the top three are interchangeable but
Central United
West Corydon
Adelaide Lutheran
Hackham
BLodge
Mitchell park
Flinders
Smithfield
I rekon there might be more to come out of the West Croydon's nest so big watch for me.

Its also time for a rebranding in the most rapidly developing area of the southern suburbs....morell wrote:They're the Double Blues

Something tells me that there will be a few returning this season. There's already been a few new names in the last few days.wenchbarwer wrote:Is it their turn this year? The Bedge wrote:Smithfield recruited half of the Northern 'burbs or what?!

I feel Smithfield's success will be measured by numbers on the track, I don't doubt they have plenty of players with ability how every if you don't have the tank to go with it, therein lies your problem.
I see them finishing midtable in a very tight comp.

I agree with you though, once you've won premierships as an A Grade coach it's where you wanna be.

I think Luthies will be a fair bit ahead of the pack, away wins will be paramount.carey wrote:I feel Smithfield's success will be measured by numbers on the track, I don't doubt they have plenty of players with ability how every if you don't have the tank to go with it, therein lies your problem.

Might be enjoyable to watch a strong West Croydon vs a strong Smithfield.beef wrote:Thommo always been a good recruiter and salesmanLightning McQueen wrote:Something tells me that there will be a few returning this season. Re: 2026 Adelaide Footy League - Division 7
West Croydon made light work of Ingle Farm Saturday night, looked pretty quick across the ground, used the ball reasonably well and a very potent looking forward line.
Walked it out the midfield on a number of occasions such was the quality.
Couple of interesting players wearing the Poos + Wees..
