Exactly. As we had an extra 4 weeks off this year, we have been working tirelessly to get this off the ground. Wingfield club rooms will be demolished next week.

I don't think the Lions need any more bad publicity.... ;)
I apologise.

Have Brighton lost their Captain, and State player, to a rival sfl club?

Rumours of a number of Brighton players wanting to stay in sfl abound.

Can clubs in different leagues be rivals?

All the old boys footy clubs are rivals in different leagues aren't they?

Am hearing rosewaters c-grade to div 7 and wingfield to be their dgrade side

Yep heard it here first beefy youre going to div 7

Yep its true, we are going to Div 7. Our A and B grade are going to Div 4 because its believed by the league we were hard done by this year and deserve an elevation into a higher grade. Our C grade will be in Div 7 and 7R. Get to use both grounds due to the high volume of new Div 7 recruits. Will be building a new purpose built facility at Wingfield oval to cater for all the players and their families. The oval will be maintained by the SACA and will be a feeder side to the Brisbane Lions.  :?

Really great news. From such awful occassions to great new heights, we're all cheering for ya well done

And let ya cgraders know that theyll be playing para hills agraders and st pauls and mitchell parks and north pines and flinders unis. So much fun to come

Heard today on my work rounds that Marion and Hackham want out of the SFL and into C9 AFL. Sooner the better

Another good point today that everyone was discussing was why not merge Marion with Mitchell Park
Both clubs are largely unsuccessful and right next to each other. Merge them and they might have success. I thought a good idea

Depends on what you seem as success. I'd strongly doubt you would find a member at either club who would agree with those thoughts.

Definitely not the way we wanted to leave the SFL with the way the season ended. Let's wait and see what happens in 2017. I'm sure it will be more like the start of the year not the end of it.

By the way my post was not to down Morphy Parks. The poster I hope was a troll but who is he to determine what success for each individual club is internally. Both clubs he mentioned have had far more success over the past 26 years than his named club.
