Of course it was! It was a ripper and he won the social media battle hands down.

Yes, hands down, protecting the ribs.
Fair enough then I thought afterwards JJ isn't shy about having some banter.

we have never had a forward line like we do now though.
Thats whats good about the last couple of years too - a genuinely good brand of footy too.
If teams can restrict our ball movement we could be in strife. A july day where it is belting down against a good contested team will be interesting.
The all out attack is unlikely to win the big finals. GWS, Bulldogs and Geelong will shut them down and have their measure. And of the teams that are not universally seen as a challenger but could give the crows trouble on their day, i think Collingwood can.
I was wrong, it was North and Melbourne and any other team that shuts the game down

Seems like our game plan has been worked out. Time to see whether Pyke can earn his money
Both weeks we have had zero ball movement from the back half.
I think teams are sitting off us a bit. In the first few rounds they would come at us and that would generate an overlap and then with our skills we would be away.
But the zones seem to be a bit deeper now and we have only been kicking to contests and then getting countered ourselves. So they are using our own game plan against is instead of the higher press like some other teams play.

He has been terrible the last 2 weeks since coming back. He needs to hit the contest harder and at full speed.
Does he know he's 200cm and 100kg?
Pulled a heart muscle.

Yep in a nutshell you can't really blame the players here. Last night it was bleeding obvious that we were out coached as we looked lost. Had the game on toast 15 minutes in to the second and then didn't give a yelp. That's fine as maybe it's a reality check that last week wasn't a "Once in a blue moon event". Soon see how good Pyke is as a coach. He is very well regarded by every one in the West so let's see how he responds.
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

So the players can't be held accountable!?!? You taking the piss??? Effort is on the players part and they showed very little
