Very disappointing for Menzel to understate the situation. He’s a fighter though and will back up again.

Butch to play at CHB is the word ... which I would have loved to have seen a couple of years ago. Reckon he will be very effective in that possie.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

How long did that take to be worked out ! I recall saying that years ago. The bloke can mark and will need a runner to handball off him. I still think its a desperate and backward move. Develop a young guy I think.

We'll just grab one from Davoren Park then, thanks for the tip.

Fraser Fort has to play as 2nd ruck, we're getting shorter and shorter. Unless we're auditioning for a Willy Wonka production this doesn't make much sense.

Nothing wrong with his field kicking, its only in front of goals things go wrong.

Not having a player standing the mark when taking a shot for goal at the top of the goal square? (actually its a rectangle but we'll ignore that)

Not going to happen. Fraser is playing in the reserves.

Two games in, and this year's premiers the only team without any match points, propping up the other seven teams.

Who'da thunk it?

If you go by what Norwood fans think of Cotton then its the unlosable flag for Glenelg from what we have seen.

Not surprised at all. Bay fans have been the only ones spruiking us to try and deflect from their team.
I don’t know a single Norwood supporter who thought we were favourites. Many have been saying Glenelg v North GF for months.

Its early but many SANFL supporters think Norwood and Glenelg. However if what Norwood fans say is true they may not make it. Glenelg fans rave about their coach and well they should after winning a flag last year . They may have a better list than last year ?
Its a short season and Glenelg have got off to a great start against 2 very good sides. I am looking forward to the next 3 games as I think that will tell a story.

Pretty enthralling start to the season with 5 of the 8 games decent thrillers.
