I'd be more happy with Mitchell than the other 2, some risky business going on.

Will probably be a few trades today but yeah majority will be in the last day and a half. Vickery to Hawks will be done today and sounds like Wells has been offered 3 years by Collingwood and could go through today
According to Kane Cornes there is a big name midfielder wanting to come to the Crows which has "forced" Don Pyke to board a plane to Melbourne this morning.

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I'm just thinking why Pyke would be so eager to get there, is it someone they've not heard of before?

Would have to think so surely.
There is a picture going round of Tex and Gibbs having coffee yesterday, wonder if Gibbs did go to the Sloane wedding?

Thompson isn't holding Lyons out of the team and if the likes of Ellis-Yolman, Harrison Wigg etc aren't able to get past Scott Thompson then I question what level they will ever get to. We aren't talking about a club with 4 or 5 guys whose retirement is imminent, just one. Cutting Thompson won't save much, if anything, from the salary cap if replaced by a draftee. Not to mention the spot he's taking on the list isn't the 23rd best player, it's the 41st best player.
Next 12 months hey. Come support the Kangaroos bud.

It makes sense when you realise we aren't paying the full cap amount and he fills a gap. Hopefully can avoid that achilles/broken foot shit that sidelined him for a couple of seasons.
