Re: Division 5 in 2007!
you have to control all the talls..thats the key to beating ALFC..if its wet even better..shut down the game..bring it down to the ground level and work the stoppages big time..dont bomb to packs..keep your possesion and feed it to fast runners around the ground..if you go into your forward line with long kicks you will be picked off..kick to fast moving forwards..they love dropping players back into defense so it has to go in quickly and precisely..accept you will be beaten in the ruckwork and man up in the middle and around the ground..and instruct your players to punch punch punch at all times if caught behind..sounds easy enough but im sure they will also have to find a way to control the FFC forwards and runners..would be a good game imo

You told me the plan Bulldog, anyone wants to know they just try to find the ruckman everytime, the engine room is the key I'm told.

beat me to it- I heard he ran from 1 end of the ground to the other, to break a young kid's jaw? (apologies if this has already been mentioned)
I believe he also had a 7 game suspended sentence from a head-butting charge earlier in the year.

Re: Division 5 in 2007!
Cracker of a round this week-
Fitzroy play CU in a triple header...
-A's (equal 2nd with Smithfield) need to beat CU to cement the double chance
-B's (eqal 3rd with CU & Smithfield) need to win to give themselves every chance of claiming the last double-chance spot.
Adelaide Lutheran playing Smithfield will keep things interesting this weekend

Sounds like he got what he deserved in the end. How will centrals go without there FF this week or for the rest of the season for that matter.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

yes but our coach tried to pull us out, probably the best thing.
he also pushed the umpire when he got sent off as well, he got red carded but he came back on late in last quarter

Re: Division 5 in 2007!
Big round this weekend.
Elizabeth throw away their season by getting nailed at home (What a pitty......),
Central United get crowned by Fitzroy (Onya Tommo),
Kenilworth avoid relegation by getting over Glenunga.
Great results all round in my books..........

Re: Division 5 in 2007!
Just a topic, who do you think is the best player in the comp.Has to be someone from another side. Our best player and one of the best in the comp would be Shamus Osborne. I know he's getting on bud Spud O'Connell from Central Utd would be up there..........
