I heard that Houghton got up, but HV were missing quite a few players due to a wedding?
a guy I know from HV said they had 6-8 players out of their side as did houghton so fairly even game with bothe teams to have quite a few important INS come season proper. Or
though I did here there may be two brothers not
playing this year from HV

There were 6 at the wedding, another 5 not available for various reasons. 6 x u/18's played A grade and all held their own.
And yes, the Matoga brothers aren't playing this year...

That would make more sense because he has apparently all ready knocked back 350 game at gummeracha.

Good news for the Sharks. Apparently Loveder is playing on - key player for the Henley boys and was a major factor in the GF win last year.

I see Haarsma has moved on. Many other lads from the Premiership side left or retired?

gday quichey, there's a few that we haven't seen yet bcos of surf live saving titles and district cricket still happening but our side should be reasonably similar.
could be a few faces that are new to our div 6 side, but not new to the club.
haarsma is the only transfer that i know of - shame because he's a good kid and an absolute gun.
no retirements that i'm aware of.
not sure if darryl is planning to pull the boots on or not, might do when required... pretty much a straight swap for haarsma.
really hard to tell how our round 1 side will look at the moment, a number of guys from the finals side are training with the div1 squad.

Thanks Tommy, sounds like things are fairly steady out there. If indeed we clash in R1, it will be interesting to note how each of the teams has progressed from last year.

Ingle Farm vs Hope Valley this weekend.
Will be interesting to see if the farmers can close the gap on last season, being beaten last season
A grade: 207 - 37 & 206 - 33
B grade: 212 - 17 & 216 - 2
