An email to the clubs today hints at exploring the possibility of giving the league the power to act in the best interests of the competition in these cicumstances.
Vote it in i say its a win for everyone thanks mate
be very careful handing ultimate power and decision making over, might be unwanted meddling where it's not required or needed but perceived to be......learn from history, Hail Caesar!

We all know how quick councils are to give away grounds to soccer clubs, is there any chance of this especially with all the soccer being played around that ground?
Or will another local club in the area try steal there ground from under them lol
Doubt it, the soccer occupies the back ovals anyway and they still have their juniors, as far as i know it's only the seniors in recess, not the juniors.
I've just been advised that the whole club is gone, juniors and all.
From their Facebook page:
"It is with great regret that we announce that we will not be fielding seniors this year due to lack of numbers and not a financial issue. Our juniors are still going strong and we have 6 teams this year including our first all girls junior team. We now all need to pull together and start rebuilding our seniors for season 2017 and supporting our juniors going ahead."

I may be wrong (regularly am) but didn't Smithfield miss a season and then reform a year after or similar? look at them now.. they should be used as a blue print for Para Hills to rebuild.
Looks like Pooraka will be the main beneficiary of those few who were left at Para Hills.
Funny about that, a previous PHFC Chairman wanted to do exactly that in 2011........

Didnt bother reading the rest of the posts did ya.
I said that afterwards
My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit
Good game of footy at mortlock park, Edwardstown are a fit running side who will cause plenty of problems in Div 4. Very nice to get the season off to a winning start for our boys.

You guys played very well. Good pick up with Pederson who played well in the middle and up forward.
I know it is only Round 1 but you guys should finish top 3.
Good pick up from div 1, his father was the best amateur player I ever saw.
Well his son played one of the best games your likely to see on the weekend. Mid 30's possies and 6.1 from the midfield. Good luck to anyone standing him this year.
were WOS missing a few of the big guns on Saturday?
Great win by Salisbury either way.
Are North Haven going to be THAT good or are Kenilworth destined for the bottom 5?
Plenty more questions to be asked and answered this weekend, looking forward to heading to Hope Valley this weekend for what will be another good test for us.

Missing 4 or 5 but no excuse. Salisbury just too good. Ran harder, played smarter and generally wanted it more. Disappointing start but we'll bounce back.
In both the reserves and the 1's Kenilworth were much bigger than havens in height and strength but they just couldn't run with them.
Kenilworth B Grade umpire never fails to disappoint.
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet *I apologise to Hope Valley people in advance, no offence intended

Can only compare to last year's back markers Glenunga and Hectorville I would say Kenilworth are definitely better than them. Neither of them had Blake Moser for a start.
Did Salisbury play that full oval press like last year?

Wakelin, Blesing, Shattock, Tasborski may have made a bit of a difference.
WOS will definitely be around the mark this year, will only get better and the oval didn't suit them, compared to Glandore anyway. We wasted our chances and were lucky to get away with it. Thanks to the WOS lads who came in for a beer and a snag afterwards, looking forward to the return leg.
