Have read only half of it so far, but seems to be in support of the three accused through the analysis of the flawed prosecution. That being said both the defense and prosecutors were interviewed for the book, as well as the accused and family members of the murdered....fairly balanced viewpoint in the opinion

True Colours - the Adam Gilchrist story.

Got it on Tuesday. Finished it today.
A good read as far as cliched, carefully constructed to make the player look like a good fella autobiographies go.
Gilly provides a more insightful read than many other cricket autobiogs, as well as a nice human touch. It was clever the way he gave an insight into the personalities of certain players, without going into too much depth.
His look at the pre-Ashes boot camp was fascinating, as was his look at the 2005 Ashes loss.

I reckon Barretts got lazy in his past 4 or so efforts, not up to his early stuff, just churning them out now. I suppose there's only so much rootin, fighting drinking & eating that Les can do though.

Sort of got into the war history books of late - Peter Fitzsimmons' Kokoda/Tobruk etc. Still labouring through Gallipoli by Les carlyon too - I've found this one to be a tough read

If you haven't already, could strongly recommend reading "All The Presidents Men" after it. A great read from start to finish, that is one of the best true detective stories written. Knowing now who Deep Throat is doesn't change the angle at all, just makes it more intriguing.

My brother gave me this for Christmas '07, I really enjoyed it as I'd never heard the story of Fromelles before.

At the moment I'm reading the Adam Gilchrist autobiography, which has been enjoyable without being brilliant.

I bought a copy of this book, and suggest anyone who like Aussie music do the same, as you wont be dissapointed.

The chapter by Tim Rogers of You Am I (which you can read on that site) shows a side of a band on your you'd never think of.

The book is a bunch of stories by musicians, music industry people, journos, venue operators, promoters, and those types of people. Very interesting read.
