heard that ex north haven coach shane O'dea is the front runner for smosh A grade job, i find this really hard to believe after his lack of success and what hapened to north haven when he came to there club, eg 34 clearances.

He hadn't been made official mate, the sub-committee had decided he was the guy, but the recommendation had to be taken to the Executive Committee (Tuesday night) and approved before he was officially given the job.

I do indeed from when I was umpiring cricket and a he's great lad to go with it. Played a season of C grade at Gepps a few years back.
Heard from a mate the Jets have announced their new coach - Troy Hall. He made the Div 4 team of the year this year, so possibly playing coach. From what I've heard may have some handy recruits too. Jets may rise from 8th!
