I remember him kicking 11 against us in div 4 A grade for Para Hills about 10 years ago. Couldn't believe a guy so short got so many shots on goal. Gun!

They are goin ok. Finding it tough agaisnt pretty strong opposition. Would have liked to see them in C3 where they belong, think they would take it right upto a very cocky Fitzroy.
bench coach wrote:Good game out at Elizabeth Saturday. Definitely something differant playing at 4:30pm. Some interesting results from saturday.
Would have been a better game if we could find the goals, You have a very solid back 6! We did get shafted on one goal that sailed over the goal umpires head and was called a behind But would not have affected result so doesnt matter.
Athelstone played a twilight game against Adelaide Lutheran on Saturday. Good game of footy played in good spirits. Plenty of banter from the sidelines by the well lubricated Raggies A and B grade footballers.
Would be interested to get Lutherans opinions on the level/quality of lighting? We thought it was ok - maybe a bit dark in the northern pockets.

im surprised Athelstone is 8-0 with Dave Harris in the team.

According to Dave Harris’s statistician he had 12 kicks, 11 marks and 6 handballs playing off the bench as second ruck.

Just like Nathan Buckleys' statistician, yes?

Poor bloke copped it for a good couple weeks after that, i think he is still leading the 'Jeffery' award, given to the most embarrassing act of the year... He'l think twice b4 gettin on a stretcher again methinks
[quote="woodublieve12"]I heard back at the club last night that the Elizabeth boundary umpire was hot on the whistle yesterday
The boundary umpire was blowing his whistle for ball ups, which was quite funny. He also was inside the contest on atleast 2 occasions, when the play was near the boundary he was on the edge of the square. I think someone needed to explain his job role before play started
