I will never celebrate an Aussie wicket but at least with Hodge gone we don't have to listen to the commentary worship and love fest

Here's a suggestion
Switch over to Channel 2 and watch a Mary Poppins programme

Im the first to admit im not a T20 fan but I try to watch a bit of the Internationals, the BBL doesnt interest me in the slightest.
And yes I cant stand the commentators continually fapping over a guy who barely averages 15 and keeps getting gifted games

test career
11 innings
503 runs
55.89 batting average

The reason he didn't play more Test cricket was the depth of Australian Batting
If he started his career now
He would be batting In Shane Watson's spot, prob playing 50 + tests with an average of 45-50

Would he play that in test cricket tho?

I actually don't mind Hodge getting the call up. I like seeing blokes rewarded for form that's what made me laugh about the Shaun Marsh test call up.

Yes i think he would.
Against average bowling he is capable with the hook shot.
The height and bounce of Broad caught him out.
No problem with him being in the 20/20 team however he should come in at 3.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

You cant go calling the selectors imbeciles and expect to get picked again.

His attitude didnt help obviously but let's be honest it was probably the strongest period of batting any country has had in the history of the game

True, he was a very good player.
If he had kept his mouth shut though he probably would of got back in eventually
