Or whatever. How often does it come to fruition? Almost never.
D6/7 has always had high calibre players. It's not the top end of teams that causes clubs to be in lower divisions. It's the lack of depth and consistency of talent.
What the "guns" very quickly realise is that its not tennis or another individual sport. It's a team game. And you're reliant on the talent of others. In these divisions that talent isn't always there.
If you're a midfielder, maybe you won't have that elite tap ruckman putting it exactly where you want it or the defensive team mate block for you every time. If you're a forward maybe the kicks are to the left right down up and not on your nips. If you're a defender maybe you don't get that team defensive help.
Invariably those more talented players try to do too much, fail, get frustrated and then don't deliver on expectations.

trial games
I see brahma won comfortably against rosewater in both grades.
Houghton got slapped hard from Elizabeth. some poor fella doing a knee.
how doesn't it takes 2 hours for an ambulance to get to him.

weird because an Ambulance station is about 2 minutes from the oval more then likely still in the hospital car park waiting to be seen tobigpoppamac wrote:trial games

I’d like to see any ambulance at a Station unless they are changing drivers. Been that way for 10+ years...Robb_Stark wrote:weird because an Ambulance station is about 2 minutes from the oval more then likely still in the hospital car park waiting to be seen tobigpoppamac wrote:trial games

I don't think there will be a lot between the top 5 sides, Greenies to be the smokey for mine, Units will go well.

Re: 2021 Adel Footy League - Division 7
Houghton by miles, they have recruited heavily and the whole Club, even Q has been on a media ban in the pre season
Except for his fetish for no club shirts at a rival club
Units have also recruited almost every decent footballer in the Northern Suburbs and they at least have club shirts in their announcements
everyone else playing for the 3rd step on the podium
