Without any certainty (or really any idea):
1. Eastern Park
2. Marion
3. Pulteney
4. Salisbury
5. Portland

6. Trinity OS
7. Pooraka
8. Greenacres
9. Gaza
10. Woodville South
Wouldn't surprise me if I was miles off track with the bottom 5.

How? What have you seen out of Woody South that I don’t know.
They seem to have lost a couple?

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 5
Busiest summer we have had in a longtime. Lost a few but feel like it’s nothing more than the average club. Retained majority and added enough to give ourselves some good depth which we have lacked for awhile now. Been really impressed with new A grade coach Mick ‘Killa’ Kilsby as well. Everyone has been working really hard behind the scenes. Definitely hoping to be in finals contention. Bit stiff to miss finals last season and I think we’ll improve. But there’s always the unknown with promotion and relegation. Plus there’s always a surprise or two. But It’ll definitely be a stronger comp than last season.

Marion, Eastern Park and Gaza are my early tips.

Would think it is Portland as they have been struggling last few years with player numbersORDoubleBlues wrote:One Club having a big meeting tonight apparently, and it's not the one mentioned above

Re: 2025 Adelaide Footy League - Division 5
Out of curiosity, what do people consider "good numbers" for this time of the year at training?
Given it's still cricket season, and it's still a few months from the season, I would've thought anything above 20 / 25 would be pretty good.

Depends on the club really. The Bedge wrote:Out of curiosity, what do people consider "good numbers" for this time of the year at training?

Your Div 1 & 2 clubs would be expecting 40+ for most sessions (with some the expectation would be even higher)
Div 4 & 5 I would say 30+ per session would be considered good numbers for preseason.
Under 20 per session would be considered low numbers.
So getting 20-25 would be neither concerning nor really good.

Still riding Anton's dick by the looks of it, the "coach of the interview" was a jokewristwatcher wrote:Training numbers will be fine all the way until about Thursday September 18th id suggest.Purple Warrior wrote:Any info from eastern park preseason

But they had good numbers at an Anzac service so he must be a good coach, like most other clubs all grades and comps

About 30 for this div but would assume most coaches would want their top 30 but likely to get a spread of A/B/C to get to the 30 numberThe Bedge wrote:Out of curiosity, what do people consider "good numbers" for this time of the year at training?

Real circa 2006 writing under a pseudonym reply. A Purple Warrior indeed you are! I'm the only one that bothers replying to you so you proceed to...
- Use a homophobic slur
- Take a pot shot at a Premiership Coach
- Criticize his selection by the Adelaide Footy League panel for Coach of the Year after he beat a team that was 19-0
- The attendance of the Eastern Park players at the Dawn Service and the way their list galvanized throughout the season was impressive. A Coach that creates connection is indeed a valuable asset. To every Coach that does that, i applaud them.
At the risk of trying to have an intelligent conversation. With their current list, club connection and player acquisition i believe the club is in a good space and have a lot of really good people working very hard on and off the field. I expect them to be there deep in finals. I have been informed who you are and where you are from and i understand the GF is still stinging and wish your club all the best for season 2025.
Also, I want to sincerely thank you for watching the show. Every time you click you contribute a little bit more to my next holiday.
