Thats fantastic. Are these blokes (and I use that term loosely) footballers or expressionist dancers. Thats is one of the softest things ever. The northern suburbs are full of some of the most helpful, genuine, down to earth people you could find. I can bet the working class people of the northern suburbs would have donated more to things like the bushfire appeal than all of the snobby brats from the eastern suburbs and the like. Unless its a tax break they aren't interested.
Can't wait to play them at their ground or ours. They will at very least know they have played a hard physical game of footy.

Gee Boozehound - you are going to be in for an embarrassing journalism career if Shrek can wind you up that easily
Actually Jimmy, the story was true. They were told Feral Park weren't allowed up unless they improved the surface of the oval and upgraded the changerooms.
Anyone who has been there know that the oval/changerooms aren't any worse than a lot of clubs in the league. People try to use it validate their fear of going there. The real issue with the ferals is the behaviour of their spectators.
Was out there in 2003 as an independant observer for an U/17's match.
The players and club officials were well behaved. The trouble came from their supporters on the western side of the oval at centre wing between the bottom and top oval. This group of "FERALS" and I say ferals as they were not members of the club, abused and threatened the umpires, opposition players & supporters and Eastern Park Officials. they stood their with their own eskies and were the worst kind of foul mouthed ferals I have ever heard.
The shared changeroom situation is not one that should be happening at the top end of the league. I believe that this is the reason why they did not get a home final last season.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.
Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Well Shrek, I can tell you Pembroke have not complained nor said anything about having to play out at EP. They really dont give a $hit where they play. I told a top Pembroke official what you had said and he just laughed - "Good to see Kilburn up here with the big boys"
I'd be shutting the f up and training hard mate coz its time to back the talk up

BH - Up in D2, the clubs dont give a f#%^where they play. The one thing about Pembroke is that their supporters will travel. Plus, most of the players played juniors for PNU or Walkerville - different situation from other old collegian clubs.
Hey Jimmy, you are a knob. This is what two Pembroke boys told me. To be honest, I don't want to go to Feral Park either, too ******* far away.
I don't care what Pembroke officials say, they don't control what their players say.
If they, or you, want to say 'well done for playing with the big boys':
1)Play more than 3 years of div 2 footy;
2)Play div 1 footy;
3)Play div 1 finals(I'll actually let you off here, you can try and play div 2 finals first);
4)Win div 1 premierships.
I am a smart arse on here but I am a smart arse on the field too. Can gaurantee college poofs like Jimmy will be shutting their gobs once they cross the white line. Easy for retirees like Jimmy to shoot their mouth off on here. Guess with the financial crisis he hasn't got enough money to spend his time doing something constructive.
