Nonsense. Where out of interest would or could it have been played and not had suffered as a game?
Cane Reserve is a picture, very little footy, have had my Juniors out there training, very little mud, a little soft under foot but apart from that a great surface
because there's nothing like a ninety metre long ground with 36 fully grown fit buggers running around on it to promote a spectacle...
pay your money and take your chances with the weather.
By all accounts Bob Neil no1 is in good nick Finn?

the centre is a bit boggy and there are some soft patches but generally pretty good and mostly firm and well grassed. it has slow drainage in parts so rain on the friday pm or saturday am can leave some puddles. the c grade snuck through 21 goals on saturday after two games had already been played there.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

That's your mob isn't it you would be reasonably happy.

Been a bit quiet so here a my tips for this week's finals games Uni v PHOS/C - the week off will be the difference. PHOS/C playing on mud hole (no offense intended) last week will take a toll on their bodies and Uni should be the fresher of the 2 teams. EP v ROCS - EP should win at home and be through to a consecutive Prelim Final . Should be a good game regardless of the weather - just wonder if the ROCS crowd from last weeks game will make the journey north to support their boys (i doubt it)

i'll go uni - beautiful uni oval won't be too bad - uni's legs to stretch phos even if wet rocs - ep's ground isn't that much different to campbelltown - will be a close one

Uni's oval resembles a swimming pool at the moment. Will need to bring the flippers and snorkel if it rains tomorrow.
But really most ovals have issues and reasons for those issues so whoever wanst to win more will win.

Walked past uni oval on my way to err... uni. Absolute swimming pool. Bring the flippers!
Shame it'll ruin a final - looks liek teh weathers going to be good too.

Heard they had or are getting the pumps in to get some water off of it. It'll be interesting to see how the ground is underneath.
That oval can, and has rebound from extreme conditions pretty quickly.... somehow. I'm interested to see what they can do this week, it wont be picture perfect, but it'll still be one of the best grounds in league.
well done bandar.good to see phos back in div 1. how long were phos down in div 2 since being relegated? lot longer than i thought they would be i must admit. Uni would be a bit nervous now with the season they have had, with it all coming down to 1 day.

It was a well deserved win TT and for us it simply makes it exciting with our backs against the wall.

We went down 2004 TT. I think we've finished third or fourth every year but one since then. Quite happy but quite aware of the work needed.
We've never won a Div 2 GF so we need to have a bit of a crack at that as well.
