Probably should be shouldn't they, especially since they didn't have the balls to go up to div3

I rekon the results show that the top 5-6 sides will be pretty even. Hope Valley, kenilworth and pooraka will fight out the relegation battle.

Yeah I think EP will still be pretty hard to beat at full strength

Unfortunatly they had two recruits Gatto and Winter both on seperate holidays in Thailand

I think there were a couple others out as well but I didn't go and im not close enough at the club to know but that's what I read on facebook on Thursday night

Was it 7

For some strange reason all the stars aligned and players had to miss this game for a variety of reasons from work, holiday and I think one was at wedding

It obviously is an excuse but your take 7 players out of any starting line up in any aussie rules comp in Australia it's going to hurt.

If it doesn't it probably means you haven't been selecting your teams right

OUT : Chamings, S. Gatto, Mciver, Winter

IN: Coad, Fletcher, Keen, McCafferty, Peter

They only had 20 named in Round 2, so 4 out and 5 in

Some big games coming up this weekend -

Eastern Park v Pooraka - Eastern park ran into a very strong Salisbury on the weekend and from all reports were missing a number of top players. Pooraka disposed of Kenilworth at home to bring up their first win of the year. Eastern park are a very good unit and with some possible inclusions this week should be a touch too good for Pooraka at home. EP by 27 points

Edwardstown v Salisbury - Townies have a very hard start of the year, with CLG, NH and now Salisbury. A great win last week beating the havens out there. Salisbury continued on their merry way, keeping the tag of premiership favourites with a 5 goal win over Eastern Park. First home game of the year for townies, will be interesting to see if they are even better at home. Salisbury work very well as a team and I think may be a touch too disciplined for the young townies outfit. Salisbury by 9 points in a belter.

CLG v North Haven - CLG are coming off the bye, but are undefeated after a close win against Edwardstown in round 1, followed by a 10 goal win at Hope Valley. North Haven started the year with a bang, demolishing Kenilworth in round one, but have had 2 losses since. Pressure would be building on the peninsula and I expect them to come out firing this weekend. CLG are hard to beat at home so ill stick with the home team here. CLG by 2 goals

Kenilworth v Westminster - Kenilworth home game, but a second home for Westminster where they won there last 2 flags. Kenilworth will be desperate to get off the mark, but I saw part of the Westminster game on Saturday and they were super impressive. Too much class and run for the Kookas. However, Kenilworth have some guns of there own. Moser, Friend, Ware are as good as any in the comp. Westminster by 22 points

The other thing nobody has mentioned is the size differential between Salisbury Oval and Dwight Reserve. Both teams traditionally struggle with the opposing ground's dimensions. That, and EPs outs, gave us a bit of a perfect storm on Saturday.

They will still finish top IMO.
