Billy Picken’s name was synonymous of VFL footy in the 70’s, a great character of the game.

Was a good cricketer as well. Has the distinction of being the first (maybe only) player to be suspended by the VCA for striking.

He used to commentate the games as he played which was part of his character. "Here comes Billy" was his favorite.
