Re: SAAFL Division 7 2013
Not much movement on the clearance page for D7 clubs.
Smithfield have three INS. Two from BL&G and one from Brahma Lodge.
Not much else really. One OUT for us listed, and one for Smithfield. We all a bit slow to get our paperwork in?

Re: SAAFL Division 7 2013
Lucky its not as quiet in here than the southern league forum though, i posted in there yesterday and it seems they are all asleep, or keeping cards close to the chest!
I assume it would be harder for Div 7 teams to attract / recruit players than say a div 6 or above club where they have a few $$ floating around
Hopefully a few clubs have some changes that get some talking points going!
But as you suggested Q - some clubs perhaps a little slow on paperwork etc.

Maybe some clubs are just waiting for all the week one hype of the clearance window to pass, and then sneak them in inconspicuiosly

Smithfield have looked ok from what I've seen & heard out there. Good to see Bryan Greatwich back out on the track too.

Well, given that we have C/D grades in this Div, they won't really have 'recruits'. Although, there was mention in the D6 thread that ex-WOS forward Jamie Clancy may line up for SHOC C-Grade.
I'm sure we'll start to see some activity from a couple of clubs in coming days and weeks

I'm sure Rob will sit down and do it soon. Will take a while to do all 39.

I'm sure PG has already named each of them as a favorite for the D7 medal.

C4 medal, i'm sure they will fit in well in the C grade if they train hard
As for you happilyretired, dont be so lazy, do some research on their background!

Re: SAAFL Division 7 2013
This is new:
13.5 - A player who has played the majority of his matches for the senior team of a Member Club
who then transfers to a different Member Club shall be allocated two (2) points (unless
deductions or exemptions apply) regardless of which Division the player has either been transferred
to or from.
Really puts the brakes on recruiting as now all recruits are automatically worth 2 point if even if they've played Reserves.

When they state "senior team" doesnt that mean a sides A grade?
