The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Re: The Red Army
As someone who has sat with the Red Army at various times and also has a brother-in-law who has had associations with it, I believe the 'politics' has been an issue for a fair while.
Some of it pretty petty.

Re: The Red Army
Yeah mate the politics issue has been around for about 2-3 years now and alot of it is petty but after this long of dealing with it I have had enough.

I've stood next to a couple of blokes several times at games who swear and mutter under their breaths about him. Whenever he started a chant, they just shook their heads.
I swear one time they were going to jump the chairs and get him.

Have chattted with a him a few times and his acutally not a bad bloke BUT his ambition and dream of what the atmosphere at Hindmarsh should be like is very far from reality. Has visions of 13000 people all standing singing stand up if you love united.

Re: The Red Army
Il Duce, are you still involved with the Red Army?
The op is almost a mirror of the politics in The Shed, where you have 2 or 3 groups in 1 spot.. more factions than the labor party!

Yeah I am still involved, myself and one other are in contention for president/leader etc. The red army has sorted out its on internal politics since i have made the original post, however since then a new group has started and created a whole bunch of new problems (the irony hey). Yeah after talking to a few of the shed boys it seems we are mirroring what happen with them. Big group at the start, fragmented then back to one big group but with internal politics, then one big group and a couple small groups but no politics (does this mean adelaide will win a title soon as it took the glory bout 7 years) but yeah its interesting.

Re: The Red Army
I have always taken the mob at the Northern End as a group of naughty boys who love the mob mentality.
I can't help but think they are there to be looked at and noticed rather than anything to do with the team.
Everytime the "You are shit " followed by mindless screaming after a goal kick happens the rest of the crowd are rolling their eyes with embarassment
guys. You are just not able to hear what everyone else is saying .Funny once a week ,boring, borish, predicable and cringeworthy every other time.
