Round 12 - Glenelg v Eagles @ Gliderol (Sun 6/7)

Post by Big Phil »

Both sides desperate for a win and one would think a much needed percentage booster on the way for the visitors...

But, stranger things have happened and the Eagles are not playing very spirited footy at the moment...

Bays need a win to boost morale, no doubt...

League @ 2:10pm

Can't make this one, so we'll probably get up!

Seriously though, can't see anything other than a comfortable Eagles win here. Certainly hope to see at least some response from us after the break and the embarrasement at Norwood though.

I hope you're bringing Apricot Slice as well.

Rather than beer, I thought a nice thermos of Earl Grey tea would be more of your choosing ....

Do Crow-Mania sells Crows thermos' or do you go for the more traditional tartan design??
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Why put this on Sunday to clash with the showdown?

It's not on at the same time as the Showdown, it's on the week after.

Check the date, mate...

It is a split round in the SANFL and this game is not on until Sunday week, the 6th...

The Showdown is this Sunday, of course, and there is no SANFL game scheduled against the Adelaide Oval clash...

Better call the club a few days ahead to make sure the stout is stocked up ...

Surely Glenelg will be better at home? Interesting article in the advertiser today regarding Stevens and how he believes he inherited this under performing team. A couple of weeks ago he was saying judge me at the end of the season? So he's more or less saying he's hamstrung with this current squad so he can't be fairly judged now? Hhmmmm

Yep, I'll bring my Crows thermos. The last time I had my Glenelg one, I was cleaning the gutters, it fell, it shattered and is now at the bottom of the ladder.

Does that make you feel better, Mods?

Careful with the Crows one, guaranteed to be poorly manufactured.

Didn't a truckload of recruits come on board this year? Therefore the squad is different to last seasons.....

Seriously, can anyone see this lot ever dragging themselves off the canvas?
