Time to put it behind us and get ready for Salisbury North at home next week.

With todays results a must win game for Broadies next week or could start to fall back a tad into that pack you dont want to be in

A new Gepps Cross team turned up at Salisbury North today. Not new in personnel, but in attitude, desire, approach and teamwork, something that has only been seen in small glimpses in the first half of the season. Maybe the subtle messages that have been encircling the club over the last week have had the desired effect.
Salisbury North were "shell shocked" and over run by the Rams in ordinary conditions. After a 4 goal first quarter, it took until the 10 min mark of the last quarter for Sal. North to score another goal, Gepps were much more fluent and played smart,team footy to run out winners 14.5 to 7.8
The Rams boys showed their best is very good, it wouldn't have mattered how many new Port recruits the opposition put on the park, today was never going to be about anything but for Gepps Cross Football Club.

I did mention to those who were with me I felt it was the best performance of 'wet weather' footy I hade seen since 2002 and posed the general question, "where has this desire & commitment to each other been"? It was similar to the Tyson Edwards final game, something surfaced that everyone knew was there, but it hadn't been shown all season so I believe you are allowed to pose the question "why"!
With regards the 'condemnation' comment, I was always taught that an opinion or point of view was allowed to be put forward and when that right is abolished, I will stop voicing mine, positive or negative. Even if it does upset some individuals.
Incidentally, my comments are no reflection of the views of the Gepps Cross Football Club.

I heard he was keen to come to the dome but his father didnt want him to go there.
His father was keen for him to go to districts, im guessing money, mates and a chance to play finals this season was what got him to SN though.

sam was extremly close to playing at portland,like has been said his father did not like the fact he was going to be wasting his talent in div 3 (probably a fair point in the mind of his father) at no stage was sam ever going to go back to districts, when talking about districts absolutly hates the place also tyler coaching sals north and having some very close mates of his playing there would have made the decission much easier along wiith $$
