Had Prospect on the ropes at 6/60 and they managed 182 after a few good lower order performances. Once again TTG not being able to kill a team off after having them on the ropes. Brendan Freeman took his first 5 for in Grade cricket and Brad Evans 3 for.

Then Prospect came out and had TTG on the ropes at 6/80 odd and then an important 26 from Hosking (who then threw his wicket away) and 80 odd run partnership from Trav Head (16 years old) and Tim Cronin (no. 10) swung the game in TTGs favour, Trav then got out on 50 which meant Cronin and Brendan Freeman (No.11) had to score the last 10 or so runs. They negotiated a Delaney over who by the way was sensational with 4 wickets and bowled some serious heat all innings and then took the spinner down for the win. Great character shown by the lower order most importantly Trav who batted solidly/patiently for a 16 year old and Tim as a tail ender in his first game at TTG after coming from the Jets showed he is hear to win games of cricket.

The top order will need to improve if we are to compete against the best teams.
