However probably safe to say with Tyson Radetti staying put we have managed to keep the better of the 2 RadettisWhat are your thoughts on this BOP? Is it a fair assesment?

yeah i'm not too sure what that is either, but you may as well.
it is though hard to disagree with the point that he did make a fair assesment

CBCOCFC are looking for a trial on the 19th March, we are unable to host the game due to oval difficulties.
Please PM me if interested on the said date.

Oval difficulties?
It would be pretty difficult to host a footy match with a concert stage set up on it I suppose

White won flags at Lofty before Athelstone, so it might not be entirely a money thing.
Word is they are definitely running around in the HFL this season.
from people that play at athelstone, I can tell you that Maschotta and fraser have been training with Athelstone all pre season.
Must just be White then.

I doubt it. Then its on record and these kind of predictions before a ball has been kicked in a trial can end up making people look very very silly
As for potential demotion cantidates...in the last 2 years Old Iggs, PAC, Walkies and SPOC have come from Div 3 I believe. I think one if not two of the teams to go down at the end of the year will be from this group.
Thats as close to a ladder as you will get from me

I think Uni and Rocs would be a real chance to be elevated to the top echelon in 2012 and we play them both in a trial next month so it will be interesting to see if i still have the same opinion post March.

I'm not sold on Uni getting back up any time soon. Lost a few players that made their team quite potent. Been down forin Div 2 for a while now, maybe its setting in.

SPOC may be a canditate for relegation going on what has been mentioned on here (although we wont know the whole truth until the season starts), but we made the finals in all grades so i would think we could push for finals again this year. And considering the A grade top five had 2nd to 5th all on the same points i would say that we showed we have a team that can stay in Div 2.
It looks like it could be another very close year in Div 2.

Re: SAAFL Div 2 & Div 2R (2011)
Lutz asked how i think we would go??
A lot more will be revealed after trials against Uni, Rocs and Goody Saints. Have picked up some handy ins and lost some good players as well. The start to our season is crucial as in the 8 years i have been there the form line has been when we start well, we get promoted and when we dont, we miss finals. As with all teams injuries will be vital. No excuses for last years relegation but we did have a shocking run last year in the first half of the year. This year so far (touch my wood) we have no major concerns at this stage.
Div 2 does look like any ones for the taking and our best football would see a similar year to 2009 and if we are below that we could drop off the pace. Id suggest we will be around the mark but pre trials you would have to think that every one would be going into the season with that kind of optimism.

Looks like it will be a very even comp this year...Two strong clubs coming up from D3, and two proud clubs looking to rebound back to D1. Like most, I also think Uni will be around the mark, im surprised they didnt go up last year tbh!
Like you say will probably come down to how teams go with injuries.

They have nearly 7 figures in the bank!
SPOC people sold the Royal Hotel at Hackney 10 years ago and gave the proceeds to SPOCFC
They could go and buy a team to play finals every year in Div 1 if that’s what it was all about.

Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.
