Sounds like you're stuck in the bubble. Just because the people you mix with hate the crows, doesn't mean everyone does. Since leaving adelaide where i thought the crows we're the most hated, i have come to the realisation that its just an adelaide thing. I work in a spot where 1000 people of all ages mix daily and no one could care about the crows or the tippett saga for that matter. Anything about collingwood or essendon comes up however and you want to get out of the way.

That's because no one cares. Big difference between that and being the most hated as was your claim.
Its not that noone cares it is that there is so much more info on these big clubs in Melbourne every day so interstate clubs just get shuffled back in the pecking order, no different to the Media that Crows and Port get over here or WCE/Freo get in Perth or Brisbane in Brisbane.

Even Geelong are only embraced in Melbourne if none of the inner Melbourne clubs look like winners. It's just like the Melbourne media turn Sydney back into "South" and Brisbane back into "Fitzroy" to avoid conceding any team outside metropolitan Melbourne any worth.
And they've never forgiven 1997-98... They could semi-tolerate Brisbane's wins using the "Fitzroy" self-deception.

I don't hate the Crows as much as I did when I lived in Adelaide. It's the bloody Crowsitiser and Always Awful drives you bloody mad. But away from that carp I can preserve my precious hatred for those that truly deserve it, the Injuction Football Club.

Tippett Rejects Swans Offer
In a shocking decision, Kurt Tippett has rejected an offer from the Sydney Swans, and removed himself from the upcoming AFL Preseason Draft.
Following the announcement of Tippett's suspension by the AFL on Friday, Tippett was finalising his contract deal with the Swans on Saturday. After finding out that he would receive a Cost of Living (CoL) allowance outside his contract, Tippett demanded it should be included as part of his main deal. When told this wasn't possible, Tippett refused to budge on his position.
Despite assurances from the Swans, his management and his family that all Swans players had to receive this perfectly legal allowance, Tippett was not convinced.
Tippett was seen at Sydney International Airport on Sunday morning, where he responded to questions from a large media contingent:
“I’ve been tricked once, I don’t want to be tricked again. There is no way I’m getting duped into signing any more out of contract deals, I don’t need any more problems.”
In response to further assurances that the CoL is not an illegal contract, and is provided to all players who live in Sydney to account for differences in cost of living, Tippett demonstrated his misunderstanding of the system (and some rare common sense):
“Yeah that’s what they told me. But $350,000 over four years to account for the cost of living? I’m not the brightest bloke in the world, but even I know that doesn’t make sense.”
Tippett went on to state his travel plans:
“I’m heading off to spend some time with relatives who live overseas, just need to get away from all this, it’s too much.”
It has been confirmed that Tippett does not have any relatives living overseas.
In a bizarre final act before departing, Tippett was overheard arguing with a McDonald’s employee. Tippett refused to believe that the toy became free as part of his Happy Meal, insisting he pay for it separately. After a drawn out argument, the employee eventually accepted an extra $2 that he immediately donated to Ronald McDonald house. Tippett ate his meal alone, before boarding his flight.
After this astonishing change of heart it is believed his family has grave concerns for his mental health.
