So should be an easy win for your blokes then scottroo. No doubt you'll be in the mix onball teaching Rob O'Gorman how to play football come Round 1. I look forward to seeing this as heard you're a gun of a footballer.

I knew someone would take it the wrong way, no disrespect to the riddler, I didn't even see the game so I am relying on scores only...and Moses I do my best work whistle in mouth

Mate we got destroyed no point sugar coating it. Trinity were a long way ahead of us last year and we need to improve significantly if we're to be considered favorites. I think Rosewater & Westminster lay claims to that title.

I just thought why post anything or for that matter even do a preseason when Lockleys are going to beat Rosewater in the GF with Westminsiter and Mawsons equal 3rd the rest of us seem to be just making up the numbers!

Yeah, I miss that Northern trash talk. When you are quiet big fella it usually means you are comfortable with your lot. I expect you to be top 5 so don't let me down.

Yeah three recruits from Callington as well, points getting used on one bloke who has had more clubs than Greg Norman!

Thought i saw him at Harvey Normans ordering a cupboard for all his shirts and a hat rack, coming from Callington aint nothing to brag about, caused some issues there.

zedman wrote:when will you guys be registering your numerous recruits including the SAAFL medallist? you must be going well to be putting a C grade in? your top 10 betting chart is a psyop..parks will be much better then 8th..you are the master of understating :)
Not sure mate, bit surprised we haven’t lodged anything yet, I am sure Ken and the committee are busy beavering away.

There will only be one A Grade SAAFL Medallist playing for Mitchell Park – The Great Joe Leck. Joey played all of last year in the magoos so I don’t think he will be any threat to your title aspirations. Assuming you're talking about Matty Francis who indeed did win a SAAFL medal in the B’s for Mitcham. Matty will be very handy and should provide a lot of drive, he is unfortunately having knee surgery so we are all hoping he recovers fully.

Our best recruit is Ben Weekly. It’s great to have Princess back.

Not trying to hide anything, we’re going OK, have picked up a couple of handy players and kept most of last years team. Definitely not as strong recruitment wise as yourselves, Mawson Lakes and Rosewater, nor did we have the strong starting position of Lockleys, WOS and Central United. C grade is still being organised and isn't a 100% I don't think.

So the betting is not at all a psyop and it is about right - hey ask the Ingle Farm guys and they reckon we will get relegated.

Ridiculously hard to pick who could win the medal without knowing the pedigree of all the guns in other teams, but I reckon Tom Easton from our boys will give it a good shake this year if he's used how I expect him to be.

Boggas would consider himself lucky to be able to talk to the A's*

* I may be a bit dirty on Boggas because he promised me he wouldn't beat me on the warm up. He did so, and then sat out the tackling drill.

Yeah, but without much of a pre-season, I expect to play B's this year. Should be a bit of fun and try and help some of the young guys develop.

What about yourself mate?

Yeah, well that's the dream, but probably won't take long and the blood will get up and I'll wanna push back into the A grade to have a run against yourself and old mate Carey.

Yeh. Was reading about Carey last year. $15,000 to coach the Units. Personally, I thought that was cheap for man of his quality.

Good on him. And to think another club in the northern suburbs (just a little bit further out North) was going to pay him even more for his coaching services, and another chance at a medal.

No wonder the Units jumped in quick to get their man, and to see the extra statue at Mofflin Reserve last year, was testament to the great man.

One hell of a good coach and player is Carey and so humble
