Re: Who xxxxed up The Forum ?
Not a fan of the new look, but I suspect I'll probably get used to it. The logos are a good idea, but for some reason there are archaic logos coming up for Port Reserves supporters.

Put it to what it was this is shit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you want it changed specifics would help, it's hard to improve something if you don't know what needs improving.
Didn't your mother ever teach you manners, btw, something else needs improving as well, your use of the English language. (I guess nothing's perfect, especially when it comes for free)

Perhaps a clue in dissidents original post. The old forum was a bitch to maintain, the new one isn't. It's not all about you, princess!

Re: Who xxxxed up The Forum ?
Is there any chance that the avatars might be shifted back to the left hand side at all?

Re: Who xxxxed up The Forum ?
Actually my favourite part of the new look is having the avatars on the right hand side as I that part of posts doesn't interest me and traditionally we read from left to right, means I can look straight at the post which is what I'm after. I love that component. The avatar and accompanying details are information you tend to not need when reading a post so it makes sense to have them over that side.

Like some of the features that are being tried, but don't like the new look. Looks very generic like a lot of other forums, and the light colours against light colours can be hard to distinguish.

Hate to be pedantic, but if we're giving feedback on posters' English, free's an adjective, so you want to say 'free', and not 'for free'.
Play on.

I see where you're coming from, but I just like to see the name of the poster before I read their post. It's very small now.

Re: Who xxxxed up The Forum ?
It took me a while to find the most important bit - the link that lets you mark the the section as read.
I use this after a I've read the bits that interest me so that I can see easily if something has been added since.
I also think the whole thing is a bit too white and therefore hard on the eyes.
I prefer the poster details on the left as there are some posters whose posts I skim for first, and some whose posts I rarely read.

Adults should not alienate masses of people by suddenly forcing unwanted changes upon them.
Conferring with the actual users of this forum first would seem to have been polite.
Amongst other things, this format doesn't seem as easy to read as it was before.
The wishy-washy grey script is probably annoying a lot of folk.
Can all the print be made a few shades darker please ?
Although too pale, the headings are a good size, but a darker font for posts might lead to the
site being better accepted. Black would be best in my opinion, but at least darker than at present
would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Sabre.
