If they are going to have the one day cup like this every year they should rotate it in every state, eg next year here in Adelaide and play them at say Glenelg or Woodville.

Has there been any talk of this possibly happening?

I dare say having it all in Sydney was just CA doing 9 a favour to reduce production costs and thus convince them to televise it.

If CA really gave two shits about the ODD comp they would tie it in with the international rights, "Ch 9, 10 or anyone else you want the rights to Australia's matches each summer you've got to take on the ODD comp too". The fact CA sold the rights for Australia's games to Ch 9 for what $500m and then had to go back to 9 cap in hand and practically beg them to show the ODD comp on Gem at the 11th hour is what stinks.

The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt
