I prefer Kilpatrick. But I did have this one experience at a pub in a little town called Whyte-Yarkowie about a half hour or so out of Jamestown, years ago. It's not so much a town actually as a place where three roads meet, marked by a post office and a pub, and maybe a farmhouse or two. The pub is pretty small too, so if the post office is closed, anyone who ventures in is suddenly within cat swinging distance of possibly the only other human beings for miles. One night after a good dozen beers or so, a pair if lads came in with a bucket of freshly caught oysters and handed them around the packed bar, (ie, all 8 of us) we scratched them out of their shells with knives. Snot with a heartbeat, was the primary sensation. Good fun though.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Not a huge fan but when in Port Lincoln for work have had a 'Saint Michael' from the Tasman Hotel...

The Oyster is beer battered and wrapped in bacon !!!

Don't notice the flavour of the oyster too much that way !!!
