Nah know a few girls that play at a decent enough level and am on the committee at my local club which has a Womens side. Good on them for having a go, doesnt mean id go and watch though

As for comments about the standard. Sure, it's a lesser standard but so is the A League and local basketball as compared to the UK and US, yet most of us would profess to still watching it or at least having an interest.

It can't be doing the sport in general any harm in having this much interest in women's cricket, either.

Yes the women's ashes would be as interesting as watching all of you play the z grade level of cricket or football that you play/played. But good on you for having a go.

Having a sister that was involved in the national underage carnivals I can safely say that by under 19's level these girls would have most blokes playing parklands cricket chasing leather around the park by a Meg Lanning or have their off peg sent flying by Ellyse Perry.

According to my sister as well they could sledge with the best male cricketers too.
